During our testing during our testing, we discovered that the iRobot S9+ cleans thoroughly and efficiently on a variety of flooring surfaces, ranging from hard to medium-pile carpets and rugs. It also did well on tiles, vinyl flooring, and laminate flooring. It also did a good job of maneuvering around objects and furniture, although it did struggle with stairs, and could accidentally hit things like bookcases.
The S9's ability to return to its base and empty its dust bin when it's full was a great feature. It cut down on the requirement for manual maintenance. The dust bin will last for about 30 loads or a month and half. You'll need to replace the filter on a regular basis (as recommended by iRobot). The iRobot S9+ is not extremely loud when it's operating which makes it a great choice for families with pets or children.

The Eufy RoboVac X8 Hybrid vacuum and mopping machine is a great choice for those living in a multi-floored home. Its dual motors offer impressive cleaning power and the 0.6l dust bin can hold a lot of pet hair. The dustbin can be removed and emptied easily this is important since you'll have to do it frequently.
It's also easy to set it up, but I would recommend fully charging the X8 Hybrid prior to running it for the first time. You'll have to install the Eufy Home app and follow the instructions for connecting it to your Wi-Fi network. The app will help you create an outline of your home. Rooms can be named, divide rooms into sub-rooms (good for open plan living) and guide the X8 Hybrid to specific areas that require cleaning at the time of. Other robots also offer similar mapping and scanning functions, but Eufy's app is more refined and user-friendly than the other.
The X8 Hybrid has a great feature: you can control the mop or vacuum cleaner through voice thanks to the integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. This is a great feature that makes the robot more hands-free. It worked well in our test home.
Like other robotic vacuums, the X8 Hybrid has some issues with floors that are not clean. It is prone to miss fur and small items and can cause bumps to objects like its charger on the charging platform. It's not as quiet, and the whirring sound can be distracting as with other models.
Roborock V3S Pro
This model doesn't have the same features as the more expensive models we tested, however it does cover the basics. It has a huge dust bin that can hold a lot of dirt before it needs to be cleaned. The vacuum and mop system is great for carpets and hard floors with a low pile. It's also super quiet, and we were able to sit and watch the TV while it was working without feeling like it was bombarding us with noise.
Our testers were impressed by how simple it was to install and use, and were impressed by its capacity to get all the mess out of their flooring. It even did a pretty good job at removing pet hair and messes from carpeting, though it was not as effective in tackling stubborn stuck-on stains. They found the app easy to use and intuitive, and they best affordable robot vacuum were able to schedule the vacuum to clean on a regular basis to reduce the amount they needed to do manually. It doesn't include the ability to avoid objects or map technology, so it isn't able to be used to send specific rooms or follow virtual borders (though magnetic boundaries can be used).

It was the most efficient robot vacuum in our tests for mapping and avoiding obstacles. It's also a great budget choice for those who want an intelligent, self-emptying robotic vacuum that can handle pet messes and hair on floors made of hardwood or carpets with low pile. It's also extremely quiet and has a large dust bin which can hold plenty of debris before it needs to be emptied.
The V3S Pro did not make it onto our top choice lists from trusted sources who conduct hands-on tests, however it received high marks from Modern Castle, Smart Robot Reviews and The Ambient. They were impressed with the ease with which it was setup and use, but they did note that its battery life is short and it didn't manage to avoid some of the most difficult mess we've put it through.

Its base is stable and solid, with a charging port integrated for the battery. The docking station is located for the tank that is clean and dirty-water bins on top. There's also a panel under the dock that holds the vacuum bag that is sealed.
Once you pair your device with the app, you'll be able to see the map in 3D or 2D of your home that shows where your robot is currently in and the area it's cleaning. You can also create virtual barriers to keep your robot from certain areas or to only clean certain kinds of flooring. It is also able to adjust its power settings based on the floor type being cleaned and choose the most efficient cleaning method.

When it comes to mopping the Q Revo's 5500Pa suction capabilities are enough to suck up specks of dust, strands of pet hair and other particles. And the all-rubber brush is perfect for dissolving hair from animals and humans and adapting to uneven surfaces.
Its only drawback is that it does take a while to fill and empty the water tanks, both clean and dirty. You can reduce the frequency of this by using the auto-empty function that will empty the bin on its own after a few days. You'll still need to check the water levels on the dock manually however, since there's no way to set an automatic reminder.
